You guys...

I love Milano cookies. Truly, every time I buy a bag of these, I devour them in one sitting.

Such an amazing cookie, that let's be honest — not only tastes perfect, but is the perfect shape for dipping into a cold glass of milk or...duh...a warm mug of tea! The way it just melts in your mouth after...yum.

I mean, look at that bag! Beautiful.

Now, what to expect out of this dang cookie?! We'll fill you in.

What's a London Fog Milano?

According to PR Newswire, the London Fog Milano is a limited-edition Milano that comes just in time for spring. The cookie incorporates the "delicate taste of Earl Grey tea flavor, creamy milk chocolate, and a hint of vanilla flavor between two delicate biscuits."

(Okay, they are really delicate...we get it).

But, what exactly is a London Fog, anyway? If you're not from the UK, this might be news to you.

A London Fog is just Earl Grey tea, steamed milk, and sweetener...just like our beloved London Fog Milano, which brings together these flavors to give you London Fog in solid form.

And, fun fact...despite it's name, London Fog tea actually originated in Vancouver, Canada. Though, sometimes it also is referred to as vanilla tea misto or an Earl Grey tea latte.

What Tea to Drink London Fog Milanos With?

Okay, so we've of course had cookies with tea before, but never tea-flavored cookies with tea.

To start, consider trying a plainer, straight tea to help bring out the flavors of this Milano. Maybe just Earl Grey, or black tea, or white tea for starters. But, if you like your cookies with milk, then it doesn't hurt to try London Fog Milanos with none other than London Fog tea! Might be too much for some people, but it could be a fun experience.

How to Brew London Fog Tea at Home

  1. Brew Earl Grey tea: Boil water and steep Earl Grey tea in hot water for about 3-5 minutes, depending on how strong you prefer the tea flavor.

  2. Steam milk: Heat and froth milk until it's hot and foamy. Any type of milk can be used, including dairy and plant-based alternatives like almond, soy, or oat milk.

  3. Add a sweetener: Just like the London Fog Milano, add some vanilla syrup as a sweetener to the mug of tea.

  4. Combine and serve: Pour the steamed milk into the tea and syrup mixture, holding back the foam with a spoon. Then, spoon the foam on top. Some people like to add a little lavendar or cinammon to their cup, too.

Where Can I Try London Fog Milano Cookies?

Okay, back to more important things. Where can you buy these amazing, London Fog Milanos?

Well, don't run to the store just yet. London Fog Milanos won't be available until March, but when exactly is still a bit of a mystery. In the meantime, head to the Pepperidge Farm website to find out where you can Find & Buy, and keep an eye out in local supermarkets. Chances are, though, London Fog Milanos are going to sell out quickly once they hit the shelves. After all, this is the first time they've released a new cooking flavor in two years.

We're not into crazes, but we're hoping this one will be chill...like sitting home with a warm cup of tea.
